Quantum Future

Quantum Computing with Neutral Atoms, Trapped Ions and Related Hybrid Systems

Ultracold atoms and ions systems offer excellent coherence properties and high-fidelity gate operations, making them suitable for quantum simulations and computation. This group is working on building both neutral atom- and trapped ion-based cloud-accessible quantum computers.

Research Focus:

  • Development of neutral-atom and trapped-ion qubits
  • Hybrid quantum computing platforms
  • Scalable quantum logic gate implementation
