This group is developing a highly scalable quantum processor using semiconductor qubits. Semiconducting qubits are fast in terms of manipulation and readout, stable in terms of longer coherence times, can operate at relatively higher temperatures (1-15K), and are strong candidate for large-scale quantum computation. The TG aims at demonstrating semiconductor qubit-based quantum computer and cryo-CMOS control and readout electronics, compatible with the quantum processor units.
