Profile

Professor Baladitya Suri earned his B.Tech in Engineering Physics from IIT Madras in 2006, followed by a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA.

He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Applied Physics at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

Career Highlights

Since March 2018, Professor Suri has been leading the Quantum Technologies Lab at IISc, focusing on experimental quantum computation with superconducting circuits.

Prior to joining IISc, he conducted postdoctoral research in Quantum Device Physics at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
