Senior Scientist Dipendra Singh Rawal, Solid State Physics Laboratory – Defence Research and Development Organisation, Delhi, Delhi, is one of the Member Principal Investigators of the technical group working on Quantum Materials & Devices with the focus on the Development of On-Demand Single Photon Emitters, Single Photon Avalanche Detectors, High-Frequency Devices and Nanowire Quantum Devices Utilizing GaAs and InP-Based Epitaxial Semiconductors under India’s National Quantum Mission.

Dr. Dipendra Singh Rawal completed his M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) in 1990.

With over 15 years of experience in GaAs-based MMIC technology, Dr. Rawal is currently a Senior Scientist at the Solid State Physics Laboratory, Delhi, focusing on HEMT-based technology development.
